FAQ's Connection Columns

Are columns suitable for indoor and outdoor use?

The following models are suitable: MS10 / MSR12 / MS15 / MS18 / MSR20 / MS290

All columns with a self-contained aluminium profile are suitable for outdoor use as long as they are equipped with splash-proof devices. Our special connection column for marinas and campsites MS 290 with lockable door is also suitable.

Which built-in devices (manufacturer and type) can be installed?

Our connetion columns are generally suitable for installing all standard devices. The only exceptions are the office connection columns MS 08 and MS 240. These are suitable for installing the Integro range by Berker.

Can the columns be equipped on both sides?

In addition to the specified standards, all columns can be manufactured for equipping on both sides with the exception of the round columns MSR 12, MSRD 12, MSR 20 and MSDR 20.

In what heights and shapes are the columns available?

In addition to the heights mentioned in our data sheets, we also manufacture connection columns in special heights.

For ceiling connection systems we manufacture columns up to a height of approx. 6 meters.

Both square and the basic round columns are available.

Are columns available with distributor?

The following types of column can be equipped with distributors:

MS 15 / MS 18 / MS 290

Further Types require clarification.

Do we manufacture lockable connection columns?

Yes, our MS 290 connection column for campsites and our MS 290 connection column for marinas are equipped with a lockable door. The MS 18 connection column can also be supplied with and without lockable door.

Are other heights and equipment available other than those mentioned in the leaflets?

Yes. Contact our sales consultants if you require special heights and equipment.

How stable are the columns and their mounting accessories?

Both the mounting sets and the offered connection column heights are stable and designed for use under normal conditions.

Are the columns also available in stainless steel?

Our columns are manufactured primarily from anodized aluminium. Stainless steel columns are seldom necessary, however they can be manufactured. Contact our sales consultants if you require further information.

In what colours are the columns available?

Most columns are available in silver and anodized and some powder-coated in white (RAL 9010).

Various RAL colours are available depending on the quantities ordered.
